Lisa A. Liberatore, MD
Lisa A. Liberatore, MD is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery. Her specialty is in Sinus Surgery especially minimally invasive techniques such as Balloon Sinuplasty and the treatment of Sleep Apnea. Dr. Liberatore has worked for the past 15 years in her private practice known as Lexington ENT and also offers the convenience of home sleep study testing to diagnose sleep apnea.
Dr. Liberatore received an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from New York University and earned her Medical Degree from Stony Brook University. She went on to complete her residency and continues to maintain privileges in Otolayngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery at two of New York's most distinguished hospitals, Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolayngology Head and Neck Surgeons, The American College of Surgeons, The Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, The American Academy of Allergy ,The American Holistic Medical Association and The American Academy of Sleep Medicine. She is dedicated to teaching New York’s future Otolaryngologist. In 2006, she was bestowed the honor of receiving the first ever Stanley Blaugrund Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Dr. Liberatore continuously attends various medical conferences and collegial forums in order to keep abreast of the latest technology and therapies within her specialty. She also strives to incorporate a holistic approach in her practice, which compliments, but does not replace traditional medical care. Complimentary medicine, thus allows the patient to have multiple treatment options and comprehensive total health evaluation.
